Colonic Irrigation

The topic of detoxification and nutritional cleansing are common to the CleanseBenefits Blog.  Depending on their circumstances many people are willing to try anything to lose weight and/or improve their appearance…even procedures and systems that may create health concerns that negate or overtake any presumed benefits.  Some people may conduct a cost/benefit analysis of a potential cure for their problems and decide that the associated warnings or concerns are acceptable to them if it results in a thinner waistline

It seems silly, however, to utilize such a procedure or systems when it is proven to have no benefit, or if the benefit does not produce the desired effect.  U.S. scientists have determined that a longstanding “treatment” with a large number of supporters does not achieve the ends previously assumed.  Colonic Irrigation has long been touted as a means for detoxification and weight loss, but it turns out these claims are unfounded.  As a matter of fact, Colonic Irrigation is now believed to potentially cause serious health problems with little or no associated benefits.

The procedure which involves flushing out the colon through a tube inserted into the rectum may lead to nausea, cramping, bloating, and in some cases renal failure and even death as determined by a study conducted by Georgetown University scientists.  The study went on to explain that colon cleansing products such as laxatives, teas, powders and capsules purport benefits that actually don’t exist.

Of similar concern is that these procedures are quite often performed by non-medical personnel in spas and clinics.  The practitioners in these spas and clinics have been found to have limited, if any, training in the administration of these unnecessary and potentially dangerous procedures.

Nutritional or full-body cellular cleansing is a safe alternative that has a medical study to back up its efficacy.  It is non-invasive and allows for a person with no medical background to use safely.

Everyone has a choice to make here if weight loss and cleansing is the desired result.  It seems to be common sense to choose the alternative that has been proven to work safely.

Cleaning House with Nutritional Cleansing

Friday, April 30th, 2010

I love my house cleaner.  She shows up every couple of weeks and transforms my house.  When I first met her she made some bold claims, such as “I can make your shower look like it did the day you moved in.”  I must admit I was quite skeptical…but she did it…she is truly amazing!

My husband isn’t my house cleaner.  Now don’t get me wrong.  I love my husband with all my heart.  He is a great husband and a great father; however, he has a unique gene that precludes him from being my house cleaner.  He is a “husband” so he has a tendency to confuse “picking up” with “cleaning house”.  My husband will go around the house and pick up clothing and towels, put the dishes away and empty the trash.  He will then stand arms akimbo stating triumphantly that he has “cleaned up”.  I appreciate my husband’s efforts and couldn’t manage the house without him, but simply picking up will eventually result in the walls coming down around us.  My husband and my house cleaner are good metaphors for cleansing and will serve to explain what Isagenix Cleansing & Fat Burning Systems can do for you and your health.

I have had many people ask me if Isagenix is a colon-cleanse or if they need to hang out around rest rooms on cleanse days.  The answer is a most emphatic no.  Colon cleanses are kind of like my husband.  They “pick up” around your body but don’t address the deep down cellular cleansing that is needed to provide you with optimal health.   Proponents of colon cleansing believe that toxins from your gastrointestinal tract can cause a variety of health problems, such as arthritis, allergies and asthma. They say that colon cleansing — also called colonic irrigation — removes these toxins, thus promoting healthy intestinal bacteria, boosting your energy and enhancing your immune system.

While there is little scientific evidence to support or refute the benefits of colon cleansing, critics say it’s generally unnecessary and at times may even be harmful. Although doctors prescribe colon cleansing as preparation for medical procedures such as colonoscopy, most don’t recommend it for detoxification.

Nutritional Cleansing unlocks the miracle of the human body.  Nutritional Cleansing increases the health benefits you’ll receive from the ancient health practice of cleansing. The herbs, vitamins and minerals that aid cleansing do two things:

*          Accelerate the removal of impurities from the body.

*          Nourish the body with vital nutrients to rapidly revive health.
A cleansed and revitalized body is stronger, resists illness better, is more efficient and performs at a higher level than one that is filled with impurities. Many people notice an ability to reach and maintain their ideal weight.

I will keep my husband as he is irreplaceable.  I recommend that you get a house cleaner.  Get Isagenix Cleanse for Life®!
