Investing in Your Health With Nutritional Cleansing

Sunday, March 20th, 2011

My wife and I talk to people about nutritional cleansing and replenishing (Isagenix) every chance we get.  We believe in Isagenix so much and want to help as many people as we can that it takes little to get us started.  One of the most common arguments we get in response is that Isagenix is just too expensive.  You may find it doesn’t fit into your budget but there are several considerations that must be examined before such a conclusion is made.  These considerations may very well change your mind about investing in your health

We make decisions every day about the purchases we make.  Very often we make decisions that are not fiscallycaribbean view Investing in Your Health With Nutritional Cleansing sound but, in the end, make us feel good for various reasons.  Maybe you go to a nice restaurant and buy an expensive dinner.  Maybe you go to  the car dealership and buy the car that is more money  than you intended on spending.  Maybe you go on a Caribbean vacation that you put on your credit card just because you have never been there.  I don’t deny anyone from treating themselves well.  I think we all deserve something special every once in a while.  But consider this…when was the last time you treated your body?  In other words, how much are you willing to invest for a healthier you or a better quality of life?  Your health maybe the greatest treasure you will ever possess.

It appears that many who research Isagenix see the retail price of the programs and without exploring further assume that this potential solution for their obesity and/or health problem is out of their reach.  There are ways that we can show you how to purchase Isagenix products at wholesale prices.  Purchasing the Isagenix 30-Day Cleansing and Fat-Burning System with auto-ship as an associate (a designation that carries no obligation) will save you about $114.00 when compared to the retail price.

Another consideration is that the Isagenix IsaLean Shake is a meal replacement program.  In other words, instead of supplementing your daily breakfast and lunch with a shake you are actually replacing that meal.  As unbelievable as it may seem, investing in an Isagenix 30-Day Cleansing and Fat Burning System can save you money on your monthly food bills.  To demonstrate this comparison I have included the following flyer:

Isagenix Savings Investing in Your Health With Nutritional CleansingThe money saving potential has become even more likely in the last several months.  In an article from March 16, mixed%20vegetables Investing in Your Health With Nutritional Cleansing2011 Foxnews.com reported that in the last 30 days alone wholesale food prices jumped more than in nearly two years.  Food prices increased by 3.9 percent over the course of the month caused largely by a sharp rise in the cost of vegetables (it is tragic that the food that is the best for us, is the least subsidized and therefore the most expensive).  Ultimately, the increase in food prices can be tied to the increase in energy costs.  The price of gasoline has gone up 3.7% which means it costs more to bring the food to your table.

Finally, the liberal compensation plan offered by Isagenix has allowed us to supplement our income.  We are able to offset and exceed the cost of our product through our compensation from the company.  If this opportunity interests you we can help you to start your own at home business that may help you pay for your Isagenix products, programs, paks and systems.  I can’t guarantee that you will experience the same incredible success we have, but we would be happy to tell you how we have worked our business.  The Isagenix compensation plan is structured in such a way that your success is our success.  Therefore, it is in our best interest to prom0te and support your business as well.

Tamara and I would love the opportunity to talk to you more about how Isagenix has not only improved our health, but also has helped us to control our grocery bills.  If you would like to find out more then you can call us at 1-866-982-DIET (3438).  If you would like to do your own research you can go to our web-site at http://www.cleansebenefits.com

Aren’t all Powder Proteins the Same?

Sunday, February 20th, 2011

There are two elements associated with a nutritional cleansing and replenishing program.  The first element involves the cleansing of impurities from the body.  I liken it to an STP treatment for your engine.  Youlogo stp Aren’t all Powder Proteins the Same? remove the impurities and your engine runs more efficiently.  In your body your engine running better means your metabolism is more efficient, and as an added benefit you have a tendency to lose weight.  I have found with my own nutritional cleansing and replenishing system that my body’s metabolism has a tendency to center itself.  I released pounds and found a weight that optimized my fitness level and athletic performance.

The second step to achieving a healthy lifestyle is to replenish the body with high grade nutrition.  Many athletes use a variety of vitamins and supplements to accomplish this end.  This is critical considering the poor state of health and fitness in this country and some of the junk we consider food.  One of the most common means by which athletes replenish their bodies is with a protein-based thumbnail.aspx?q=525279038240&id=31a9d4dc965f89831fee6092948d94eb&url=http%3a%2f%2fwww.tradeoffer.com%2fuploadedimages%2f82703399 Aren’t all Powder Proteins the Same?powder.  There are several different protein powders on the market at the present time that can be mixed into flavored meal replacement shakes (usually a chocolate meal replacement shake or a vanilla meal replacement shake).  The options presented below are in order from least to most effective/comprehensive in achieving total health and fitness.

Whey Powder

Of the three options I will discuss, this is the least expensive of the protein powders.  There are three different types of whey protein to include hydrolyzed whey protein, whey protein isolate, and whey protein concentrateWhey protein contains little fat and cholesterol and is also low in lactose.  There are few carbohydrates and it is high in calciumWhey protein increases training related fat loss if consumed immediately before or after you work out.  Whey protein also increases protein synthesis if taken right before or after a work out.  It is easily digested and absorbed.

Whey Protein/Calcium Caseinate Protein Powder

This blend of ingredients provides two different protein sources that are absorbed in different ways.  The whey protein is quickly absorbed while the calcium caseinate protein is absorbed much more slowly.  This combination gives you an immediate source of protein as well as a time released source over time.  This combination increases fat loss when consumed just before or after your workout.  The added element of calciumIsaLean Nutrition Aren’t all Powder Proteins the Same? caseinate is synthesized from dried skim milk.

Whey Protein/Calcium Caseinate Protein/Carbohydrate Powder:

This is the blend that I use and seems to offer the greatest benefit to those looking to improve overall health and wellness, manage their weight and build lean muscle mass.  The introduction of carbohydrates and fat to this blend of proteins creates a super food for those looking to…

  • Maximize nutrient absorption
  • Support vital body functions
  • Build Lean Muscle
  • Manage weight

I would suggest to anyone looking to incorporate a protein powder into their diets and work-out routines to read the label.  Not all protein powders are the same so a little research is necessary.  If you would like to talk about the protein-based meal replacement shake that I am taking which falls into the last category I would be happy to talk to you about it.

To Monster or Not Monster…That is the Question!

Wednesday, February 16th, 2011

In 1965 Dr. J. Robert Cade was a researcher at the University of Florida.  Dr. Cade noted that the football team was being deprived of water during practices and decided he was going to do something about it.  Dr. Cade

To Monster or Not Monster...That is the Question!

Gatorade

developed a drink that would keep the players hydrated and replenish their electrolytes.  The drink was a hit with the Gator’s and Gatorade was invented.

Dr. Cade, in my opinion had noble intentions when he developed his drink.  I cannot say the same for the new breed of “energy” drinks such as Monster, and the most notorious in recent history ‘Four Loko’.  This alcohol infused “energy” drink contained 12% alcohol and extremely high levels of cafeine.  It was not until complaints of mass illness and potential deaths were reported that ‘Four Loko’ was removed from the shelves.

In a recent Associated Press article titled ‘Pediatrics Report Details from Energy Drinks’, the issue of dangerous energy drinks was tied to injury and illness in children.  One example cited involved an 18 year old child who had

a seizure and required hospitalization after consuming two large energy drinks

My greatest concern with the drinks is their very reference.  The term ‘energy’ drink bears a similar conotation as was offered by Dr. Cade and his Gatorade in the 1960′s.  Calling them ‘energy drinks leads one to believe that there is some sensory or physical benefit to drinking them.  You may feel  more alert, but at what cost.  Furthermore, what chemicals are providing you with that stimulation?  Would a cost benefit analysis of what you are receiving and what is being taken away eliminate your desire  to take another sip (chug)?

We have made the decision to  not  offer these drinks to our kids, nor do we drink them ourselves.  When we began our new lives  into our Nutritional Cleansing and Replenishing program we made a concerted effort to eliminate food and drink that would be contradictory to our effort to cleanse our bodies.  I would never claim to be perfect and we are most certainly human.  We do cheat on occasion, but we have also made some common sense

To Monster or Not Monster...That is the Question!

Want More Energy

decisions that have had significantly positive effects on our health and fitness.  We do not consume energy drinks unless you are talking about Isagenix’s® Want More Energy?® Natural Electrolyte Mix!  I would be happy to compare the natural ingredients in this drink to any other electrolyte replacement drink on the market today.  Otherwise,  when you open our refrigerator you will find purified water and milk as our typical dinner fare.  We are actually going through several cases of water every week.

I am not telling you  to change who you  are or completely alter your diet.  My diet has changed very little.  My wife is a fantastic cook and continues to make her family the same delicious foods she always has.  Instead I am suggesting you consider one onf the primary tenets of Nutritional CleansingPurity.  Pay attention to the chemicals, additives, preservatives and impurities you are introducing to your body.  What you eat and drink is important to your health and every positive decision can have a major impact on the quality and length of your life.

Nutritional Cleansing and Replenishing

Sunday, February 13th, 2011

Some of the frequent visitors to the CleanseBenefits Blog know that one of my favorite documentaries is FoodMatters.  The DVD available through www.foodmatters.tv   discusses our current state of health and how weFood Matters Nutritional Cleansing and Replenishing as Americans are no longer receiving adequate nutrition from the food we eat.  This is attributed to the fact that the fruits and vegetables we eat today are very different from those of 50 years ago.  We have leeched the vital nutrients from the soil which means important vitamins and minerals are not making it into our bodies.  Furthermore, because our food travels such great distances and it can be weeks before it reaches your plate, much of the nutritional value contained in the food is significantly depleted.  If the fruits and vegetables are not adequate to provide all that a body needs the way we are preparing our beef and poultry is not helping either.  I would recommend the documentary Food Inc. to you; however, I suggest you may never eat another hamburger for the rest of your life.

Ultimately, we are introducing additives, preservatives and other chemicals to our bodies in the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink.  Conversely, most of America is doing little to counteract this onslaught by introducing vital healthy supplements into our dietsFoodMatters does not sugar-coat this situation and states definitively that we are slowly poisoning ourselves.  Considering the garbage we are putting into our mouths it is ironic that we are eating so much of it.  We are, as most everyone is aware, the fattest nation on the planet.

One of the major points made in the Foodmatters documentary is that we have become a nation of prescription drug users, i.e. “One pill for every ill.”  We fail to recognize that many of the diseases we suffer from are directly connected to what we put into our bodies…and what we fail to put into them.

There are many ways which people attempt to deal with this unfortunate situation.  Some of them are useless, and Nutritional Cleansing and Replenishingsome can be dangerous.  Most of the solutions, however, seem to agree on one thing.  Somehow we need to cleanse impurities from our bodies and replenish them with good nutritious foods, vitamins and minerals.

Our bodies are essentially high performance machines.  When impurities are introduced, our machine does not function the way that God intended.  So what is the solution to our problem?  Many of us have turned to internal body cleanses in many different forms.  There are many different types of cleanses meant to remove impurities from various organs in the body.  Examples include:

  • Colon Cleanses
  • Kidney Cleanses
  • Juice Fasts
  • Detox Diets
  • Digestive System Cleanses
  • Castor Oil Packs

There are some pros and cons associated with these processes, but I believe that all of them are lacking in one way or another.  One of the most common of the cleanses noted above is the colon cleanse.

There are several significant dangers commonly associated with a colon cleanse

  1. If contaminated water is introduced into the body during a colon cleanse, severe sickness can result.  Kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion.
  2. Some herbs used in colon cleanses are particularly powerful in producing detox reactions like diarrhea and headaches
  3. Some colon cleanses can contain non-organic ingredients that have traces of pesticides and other chemicals in them.
  4. A colon cleanse can hurt the process of shedding nutrients and absorbing vitamins and minerals.  This can cause the colon not to function properly.
  5. The body could absorb too much water during the procedure causing a myriad of dangerous reactions.

Is there a positive alternative?  The answer is yes.  A system of nutritional cleansing can release impurities that can slow down your metabolism while providing high grade nutrition to your body’s internal organs.  In addition, nutritional cleansing can:

  • Help you to lose unwanted pounds and inches Nutritional Cleansing and Replenishing
  • Cleanse harmful impurities from your system
  • Burn fat and build muscle
  • Naturally reduce unhealthy cravings
  • Gain energy and improve mental clarity.

Cleansing and purification is not a new concept.  It has been practiced my many cultures throughout history for physical and spiritual reasons.  Considering the toxins we introduce into our environment and the impurities subsequently introduced into our bodies nutritional cleansing is becoming more important to good health.  The right nutritional cleanse can ensure these impurities are released and our bodies are able to recover.
